You Have 2 Full-Time Jobs But Only One Salary

The first job?

It takes 8 hours a day and pays the bills.

The second one?

It takes 24 hours a day.

It’s staying healthy—physically, mentally, and emotionally.

Because nothing matters if you’re not healthy. Not your money, goals, or relationships.

Health is about:

  • Healthy thinking
  • Healthy attention
  • Healthy relationships

Here’s the kicker: your health has inputs and outputs.

What are outputs?

Outputs are how you present yourself to the world.

How you talk. How you dress. What you do.

You can either be slumpy, late, and low energy.

Or you can dress sharp, show up on time, and be ready to grab the world by the balls.

Big difference, right?

The inputs?

Inputs are what you consume.

It’s not just food. It’s everything you let into your life:

  • Content you scroll
  • People you listen to
  • Conversations you engage in

It’s the stories, voices, and ideas you absorb.

These shape how you feel, how you think, and what you do.

A visual comparison of positive and negative influences on well-being showing how supportive relationships, a growth mindset, and mindfulness enhance mental and physical health, while toxic people, self-criticism, negative media, and a fixed mindset hinders productivity and longevity.

Negative friends or a messy house?

Sure way downwards.

Positive friends and a motivating environment?

Energy through the roof.

In the last 6 months, I reduced negative inputs big time.

It changed how I feel inside.

And how I show up for my goals, health, and people I love.

How?

I focused on the 80/20 rule.

I cut out 20% of negative inputs that caused 80% of my stress.

I doubled down on positive inputs:

  • Positive relationships
  • Inspiring content
  • Clean environment

Guess what?

My energy and focus shot through the roof.

The time it takes to start and finish my tasks decreased.

Discipline became easier with the right environment.

How to start?

Take a look at your inputs.

Ask yourself:

What negative inputs can you reduce now?

Which 20% of negatives cause 80% of your frustration?

Then cut them. Ruthlessly.

If you can’t eliminate them fully, limit them.

And for the positive ones?

Add more.

What you consume makes or breaks your health.

And your goals. Pay attention.
